Elizabeth Smith and her newest series of dry point engravings; a form of intaglio print making. During the printing process, the residue of surface ink is retained, producing an antiquarian bookplate impression. Joel Romeo’s impaired hearing and inability to communicate verbally, has given him a unique take on the world around him. His raw style and unpredictable narrative lend itself to a truly unusual art production. Within a variety of mediums Joel creates characters that transcend reality and cartoon-like imagery, while capturing the qualities of his personal experiences with the world in stunning perspective. This exhibition is a must see for any Ballard/Fremont resident: Joel is well known in these parts. - SOUND SPEED SCOOTERS - 132 N.W. CANAL ST.
